1. Add browned sausage, chopped onion, chopped celery, chopped carrot, chopped zucchini, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, sea salt, dried lentils and seasonings to stockpot.
2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
3. Reduce heat to low, cover stockpot and simmer for 1 hour or until lentils are tender.
4. Add additional water, if necessary, for desired consistency.
5. Garnish individual servings with parmesan cheese, serve.
